The Province of Alberta has established a hierarchy of planning documents. The Town of Bow Island's planning documents must align with higher level documents and the Land Use Bylaw must be consistent with the Municipal Development Plan.
The Land Use Bylaw establishes standards and uses for land within the Town. All development must conform to the bylaw.
Applications for a Development Permit can be dropped off at the Town Office or emailed to townoffice@bowisland.com.
There is a $75.00 application fee for all Development Permits. Click here for payment options.
Building/ electrical/ plumbing and gas permits can be submitted to the Town Office or townoffice@bowisland.com
