Our small town atmosphere and pace help make this a great place to raise a family and includes many of the necessities of a great lifestyle. Our diversity is reflected not only on our friendly citizens but in our business sector as well. The entrepreneurial flame was lit here in 1908 with the first major discovery of natural gas in Alberta and has continued to this day in agriculture, construction, and manufacturing. The progressive farmers and businessmen of Bow Island provide a range of employment opportunities for our growing population.
